For almost a week, the weather forecast was calling for March to come in like a lion. Well, it turns out the weather forecast was lyin’.
Yesterday the Wausau weather forecaster said that March was going to come in lame. 🙂
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
03/01/2018 at 9:56 pm #2058294It was clear of snow all day today, except for when I was out in Ahwaubemay Park today helping fix a cache for someone. Figure that one out.

for March 2nd-Go Bucky!I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

03/03/2018 at 6:37 am #2058309FTP for Saturday the 3rd of March.
Hope it’s a good day for maintenance.
03/03/2018 at 8:27 am #2058311I think we might be doing some of that today too, Jim. Tomorrow we’ll go back to Owl Fest, skipping the really busy day today. I will be back out owling after dark tonight and sure hope I have some luck for a change. Think I found a nest location, based on all the bill clacking I heard telling off blue jays.
03/03/2018 at 5:10 pm #2058323I ended up taking a long walk today, and I know someone in here would like one of my TB’s to take a long walk of a short pier. :-p

03/05/2018 at 9:18 am #2058371Found and photographed a SawWhet Owl yesterday. Way better than any caching challenge we’ve done…this has been years in the works for me. No birding hotline, just my own eyes, ears and persistence finally paying off.
