It was clear of snow all day today, except for when I was out in Ahwaubemay Park today helping fix a cache for someone.  Figure that one out.

I think we might be doing some of that today too, Jim.  Tomorrow we’ll go back to Owl Fest, skipping the really busy day today.  I will be back out owling after dark tonight and sure hope I have some luck for a change.  Think I found a nest location, based on all the bill clacking I heard telling off blue jays.

Found and photographed a SawWhet Owl yesterday.  Way better than any caching challenge we’ve done…this has been years in the works for me.  No birding hotline, just my own eyes, ears and persistence finally paying off.
