The cachers were out this weekend. 900+ found it emails….. Granted thats what I get for having a couple large series too, but many of my other caches were found too….. But I’m thankful for email filters 🙂

03/19/2018 at 11:27 am #2058711I just sent in my taxes, had to add additional postage because the envelope didn’t fit the template. I can hardly wait for next year and the postcard.
03/19/2018 at 1:05 pm #2058712Might just as well hang a little bottle from a stop sign, only the name remains.
jar42 … does that make you the retriever of the container? I like road trip multi caches, especially Message In a Bottle because I got to travel around where I spent a lot of time when I was growing up. My Grampa owned property next to what is now Dakota Inn.
03/19/2018 at 1:57 pm #2058713Yes, I am after all the owner of said container.
I spent a fair amount of time in Dakota in years past also, spent enough money there to have owned property.
03/19/2018 at 5:31 pm #2058714And….another mil grade ammo can….taken. We archived a few more today, but opted to replace the stolen one for our “Classics” challenge in a nearby spot, not winter friendly, and not a nice ammo can. We may or may not put a couple new ones out there. We’ll see. I’m tired of providing storage containers for everyone in LaCrosse county.
03/20/2018 at 9:23 am #2058717Do my eyes deceive me, am I really claiming First to Post on the first day of Spring?
The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.
Where's George? Stimulating the economy one EMS'ed dollar at a time.
03/20/2018 at 11:24 am #2058723Maybe we were just waiting until Spring actually arrived just in case something went wrong.

I wouldn’t hold your breath on that promise.

03/22/2018 at 7:30 am #2058752Not sure I really am into the spirit of this souvenir challenge. I just see it as something manufactured to get us to do something we already want to do.

03/22/2018 at 8:25 am #2058753Sure we’re gonna do power trails, but that will leave us with what after?

Actually I can see a benefit to the promotion. Since mystery caches, earthcaches, letterbox hybrids, and multicaches are worth up to 3x more points than traditionals, it will motivate some of those traditionals-only newbie cachers to spread their wings and step out of their comfort zone to solve a puzzle or find a multi. It also has motivated numerous people to host events during the time period since events are triple points. As for me, I’ve got plans made for several cache outings with others because of the challenge. Sure I would have likely gone out caching with those people anyway, but the focus is a bit different: What non-traditionals should we work on together as well as traditionals so we can hit our goals? One thing is certain – I plan to find at least 35 to 50 caches during that three week period to meet the full challenge, which might not have happened as quickly had it not been for this Planetary Pursuit Challenge. I plan to have fun with it!
03/22/2018 at 9:29 am #2058755Sure I’ll take an FTP.
