One good thing about not having found many caches outside of the immediate Sandland area is that I still can find many caches with “extra points” in this souvenir game going on now.

And, we just happened to be driving past one of the new to the LCG caches yesterday.

Finding that one somewhat soothes the pain of people that don’t play the game found several of the ones i had hoped to find this week.Yes, I know I can still get points but it’s not the same to me.

The best sig is no sig.

Speaking of LCG caches, are you still planning on making it to mine in Green Bay at all?

With recent days where I was the only poster for an entire day, I’m gonna pass on FTP on a day until there’s a calendar date where there are exactly zero posts.

Might as well grab the FTP while finishing testing various updates to the website (behind the scenes) to make sure stuff is still working and not people unable to make posts. 🙂

Yup sideffects from some updates I did last night. It updated the styling for our site, which it didn’t show initially during tests. So I did it and now the color and cramped changes :/ I’ve changed the styling back but for some reason it doesn’t want to take effect. I should have it fixed later

On BING! search, the association title shows as “Geocaching” instead of “Wisconsin Geocaching Association”. I can still get here, though. Something not recognized?

Thats weird, just looked into that quick and basically its bing’s fault. There are a couple things I can try but basically its bings algorithms decide what to pick for the title of the website to try and have it be more friendly to users. But as you can tell not always the case, and I can’t force change it. There is a couple things I can (and will) try but it is all up to Microsoft and the bing team. (Might have to reach out to my friend who works on the bing team and see if he can change it haha)

Also pushed an update for the width/cramped issue, hopefully the server will refresh it soon with the update.

Okay its looking better now with the website style. If still noticing things off you may need to clear your browser cache for it to reflect the changes
