:ftp: for Friday the 13th!
(That makes a scary movie title!)
04/13/2018 at 7:27 am #2059174Thanks for the birthday kudos!
I woke up this morning thinking, “I don’t feel a day over 60!”…and then I realized I was!
04/13/2018 at 8:40 am #2059177Did you know there’s such a thing as the fear of the number 13? It’s called triskaidekaphobia. I found that out last August when I went to Saint Louis for the Where’s George gathering I go to. It was the 13th annual event there, and they even had shirts made up for it. . .which is what I’m wearing today.
The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

04/13/2018 at 8:45 pm #2059184Wow! No one rushed out today to find the new multicache I had published for my birthday!
I doubt it was the weather; more like “multiphobia”!

I would have, saw the notification but with crazy half day at work and having my father in law over and spending time there I haven’t even gotten the cache page open 🙁 if it would of been any other day not this weekend I would’ve likely been all over it haha. Might still give me that opportunity though with “multiphobia” spreading these days. Might be able to get it Monday then if no one beats me to it 🙂

04/14/2018 at 7:10 am #2059186FTP for an icy April 14th!
04/14/2018 at 7:16 am #2059187About one inch here. WWSP is saying they have 8″ with 7″ more on the way.
So much for getting more souvenirs this weekend.
The best sig is no sig.
04/14/2018 at 8:15 am #2059188Had hail yesterday afternoon, thunder and lightning in the evening, and woke up to a 3 ft. snowbank at the end of my driveway this morning. All caching plans have been curtailed for the foreseeable future…maybe June???

Did you order all this white fluffy stuff? If you didn’t, the next person in line for a flogging is Bartrod. :-p

04/14/2018 at 9:39 am #2059191Roads are cleared already (love Menasha’s plowing!) but it’s just nasty out there and more craphas on the way making for poor travel conditions. Stay safe, everyone!
04/14/2018 at 9:51 am #2059192No white fluffy stuff here in East of Sandland, it’s more like tiny white beads, Billions and Billions of tiny, heavy, white beads.
I scraped about an inch and a half of the stuff off of the top but don’t think I’ll bother to try and get down to the concrete, with more coming I may just wait until next weekend when it’s supposed to be in the 40’s.
04/14/2018 at 11:07 am #2059193We’ve had nasty, nasty, nasty. Rain, sleet, hail, snow, you name it. The ground was clear, now there’s a covering. Good day to stay home and do indoor projects, which are just sitting there awaiting us.
Worst part is that our sons were planning to go visit my dad in Minneapolis this weekend and travel is just not a smart idea. Hoping they can work out a skype visit. Even though they’ve always been there and should have no regrets, it’s important to them to “say hey” one more time, even if it’s virtually. 🙁
04/14/2018 at 2:27 pm #2059194Plowed out my driveway this morning, then headed over to my mom’s to plow hers. The N/S roads were in good shape, but the E/W road was heavily drifted. As I got nearer, I saw that it was a small tractor, stuck in the ditch. I saw the owner at the next residence down the road and pulled in to ask if he needed help. He had a chain, so we hooked it to my Ranger and got him back on the road. Turns out he was plowing the road so his kids could get out. Got over to my mom’s house and promptly got the Ranger stuck. It rode up on the snow drift at the top of the driveway, lifting the front tires off the ground. The gravel underneath the snow was soft, so the back tires dug holes in the gravel. After much shoveling, prying, and pulling. I finally got it out. I hate April craphas.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
04/14/2018 at 2:34 pm #2059195I think I might venture out for a bit before it worsens again.
04/14/2018 at 2:34 pm #2059196But first, my allocated :ftp:
