Gotta love this….so Friday was a no school day for Poohs Pal.  We went out hiking and exploring, and while riding in the back seat, he informs me…”Grandma, we were driving by the marsh the other day and I saw Greater Yellowlegs in there.”  Not “birds,” but “Greater Yellowlegs.”

Something strange happened. My wife wanted to spend our anniversary caching today. It’s not our anniversary, that was tax day. We found a dozen before running to Rapids to get chicken supplies and then our luck ran out in Nepco Park.

So….on facebook I see that Poohs Pal and his parents picked up three bags of trash yesterday on their walk along the bike trail.  I asked just where, and the reply was…”we made an Earth Day plan to do this weekly now.”

No souvenir needed.  😉

I think we need to step up posting in this thread, especially during big events that might capture our attention.  I think posting went way down during Cache Ba$h last year, I think I was doing a majority of the posting during that time even though I was in Saint Louis that same weekend.
