A new virt in Marshfield?  I have notifications on for virts, but I think that’s outside of the range I put up for that.

The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

One of our Favorite Earthcaches is just a few hours from extinction, if it’s not buried under fresh lava already.  Someday, perhaps, there will be another to take its place, but with a different lesson to teach.

Here comes the Lava….it will smother our winter ‘vacation home away from home’ just before it covers the EC.

        FTP for June 4th.

We didn’t make page 1000 as I predicted we would.  But the day’s not over yet!  (How’s that for optimism?)

Got our tractor, delivered, so no trip to Chili or to the new virtual in Marshfield. Garden is 99ish% planted and most of the lawn is cut. Even got the turf out for where we are putting in our chicken coop.

The best sig is no sig.

Makes me wonder if anyone over that way still has a virtual they can publish.  That would be a great excuse to put one there.

Mr. Happy Hodag, one way or another, there will come a time when it will once again be a ‘cool spot’ and up will spring another cache to educate and delight cachers. 😉

Hey bartrod, now is a great time to go back over there!  Just spotted round-trip tickets to Kona (this August) for a bit over $400…might have been from Minneapolis, but still likely half-price the norm out of GB.  Cars are cheap to rent too!

I sure hope it can cool down and be able to bring people there.  I really wish I could afford to get there, but I don’t think I’ll ever win the lottery.

I don’t think so…the vog would not be good for my wife’s asthma. We had a terrible experience in Yellowstone once upon a time 🙁

FTP for Tuesday    Up with the Northwood’s Robins this morning.  Should be a great weather day for getting the garden ready to plant tomatoes and pepper plants.   Beans and peas are up and the rhubarb is on steroids.

                Day 2 of summer vacation.

                Jealous.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Just saw that there is a new virtual cache in Marshfield. Since I don’t have notifications set for virtuals, I didn’t see when it published. It’s been out for almost a month. Guess I need to pay closer attention.

Haha but it was on my dad’s notifications, who lives in the twin cities… He called me up asking if I was wanting to meet him there. I wanted to for an FTF on a virtual, but the 2 hour drive one way starting at 8 or 9 wasn’t appealing after packing to move all day :/

He still went for it and meet the cities finest haha, yet to visit it myself.
