for October 29th! Make it a good week.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Time for a little Halloween fun. I’ll start it out and then you add a couple lines to make a spooky/funny/goofy Halloween story.

It was a dark and stormy night. The children were upstairs in their beds and there was a nice warming fire set in the fireplace.
I was sitting there reading my book, enjoying a mug of hot chocolate when all of a sudden…

How was everyone’s Halloween?  I enjoyed walking up and down my street visiting a few of my neighbors.  I’m sitting out in a driveway on the other end of my block out by a fire as I type this post with a treat in my hand. . .a new beer I haven’t tried.

Absolutely too early for Christmas music!   I want Thanksgiving music.

Too early for Christmas music. No Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving, and no Christmas music until December.

Is it me, or is the Christmas music starting before Halloween this year?  That’s way to early in my opinion.  Start it the day after Thanksgiving.
