RIP Wayne Stemple aka Lord Cadogan.

So sorry to hear of Wayne Stemple’s (Lord Cadogan) passing.   I met him at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center when he was doing a serious trip around the Northern part of the state for counties and State Parks.   He was proudly wearing a WGA T-shirt.   We had a length discussion on all things geocaching.   I also remember attending one of his PI Day events near Madison.    RIP Lord

It’s always sad to hear of one of our fellow cachers passing. I had the privilege of having a very nice conversation with Wayne during the WGA’s Fall Picnic. It also turned out that the spatula he was using went missing as we were cleaning up. I managed to locate the elusive CharBroil spatula, wash it up, and UPS it to his work. He was very thankful. He will be missed in the caching community for certain. RIP.

We were saddened to hear of Wayne’s passing as well.  He did a lot to pump up the game in his Green County area.  Hopefully there are others who can carry on his legacy there.

Guess what came in the mail today?  A package of Geocaching goodies, including two containers.  You might find yourself asking where this package came from, I won it during the annual Podcast of Hope last Sunday.  This is an annual fundraiser that the Geocache Talk podcast hosts every December to raise money for Saint Jude’s.  I just recorded an unboxing, and will be putting it up on Youtube for all to see.
