Unfortunately my event at the Brule Ski Trail has been cancelled/archived due to the continuing winter storm.    Duluth was at 5 inches and their winter advisory has been cancelled, but the South Shore of Lake Superior continues to be hammered with wind driven lake affect snow.     Plus the WDNR is not at work today so their parking lot won’t be plowed out until tomorrow.

Made a quick trip to Appleton but not sure enough of the weather to make it to the event. Got home just before the rain started to freeze. Craphas is coming down pretty good. With some wind, it could be hard to see later. NYE gathering has been cancelled.

We have about 3.5″ of snow on the ground right now and it’s still snowing pretty hard . . . The original I saw was 5-8″ for my area. At this rate, we will be above 5″ for sure!
