If a mosquito bites me I kill it…if a wood tick or deer tick attaches itself to me or my children, I take a tweezers, gently pull it out and say, “be glad you live to see another day.” Then I release it back to it’s home. Tami

you know, i tried this, and it works quite well. i really think those bruises in the shape of boot tread on geo’s back will fade soon. (mental note: remove the disgusting, blood sucking creature before stomping the guts out of it).

I feel that ticks should be carfully removed and later released in a similar habitat. We need to be very humane with the way we deal with them. Afterall, the way these little buggers are multiplying, they will one day rule the world and become the dominant species. Maybe the one you release today will put your name on the protected rolls

(don’t ask me where I get this stuff)

Actually, there’s the .50 caliber Desert Eagle, which is a very heavy weapon to hunt with, but is an automatic: http://www.magnumresearch.com/Desert_Eagle.asp

The .454 caliber Casull revolver is about 1-1/2 times more powerful than the .44 magnum, but has 1-1/2 time the kick. It’s much better for hunting, but I recommend a shooting glove: http://www.fishandhunttexas.com/454casull.htm

Oddly enough, I just mash them between two rocks…
