Titanic Caches

In the movie Titanic, the character Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) claims to have gone ice fishing on Lake Wissota, which wasn’t created until five years after the Titanic sank, when the dam in Chippewa Falls was built.

This suggests some Titanic themed caches, or at least some Celine Dion songs around the campfire.

Just had to share something on this line. A few years ago we were camping at Lake Wissota with our two youngest girls. At the time the older one was “in love” with Leonardo. All of a sudden she began to bawl uncontrolably. When we finally got it out of her, she had just realized that we were near where “he” visited to prepare for his part in the Titanic and she figured she may have touched some ground or swam in some water that he had touched. Oh, youth is so wasted on the young.
