    Hello, all –

My 6th grade students own a TB. It is known as the Seton Eagle. It’s mission is to visit other schools, and send email notes back to our students.

Our eagle was give it’s wings and set free on Dec. 21. It has spent quite a bit of time hibernating in caches, and so far, it has not gotten into any schools. Now it’s been sitting in the Ghost Train Station Five cache in the Milw area for half a month.

The students are getting antsy for some action! Hopefully some of you active cachers down in the metro area can help us out by grabbing our eagle and sending it on it’s journey.

    Thanks a lot. Grandpa

If it happens to come through my hands, I will make sure it visits a school … I’m in the process of planning a Field Trip / Class on geocaching/gps satelites/world coordinates with my daughter’s teacher (7th/8th grade, small school in Ozaukee County). That will be in early May, but if I get my hands on it before then, I’ll make sure it makes a guest appearance. So, we shall see if my paths cross with your class TB.

Mission accomplished today. I rescued this travel bug from the clutches of the cache container at Ghost Train Station Five. I will get it moving soon.

Darn. We’re going to #5 this weekend (ran out of energy last time). We’ll keep our eye out for your TB for a future opportunity.

Thanks, all. Eagles don’t hibernate in small caches, and kids aren’t patient. Sounds like both will be happier soon, eh?
