Todd sent me a Text today to tell me he got his 600th at Reany Falls GCZ20X North of Marquette, MI today.

Thanks. It was nice to get the 600 out of the way.

Everytime I plan to get the milestone, something happens to delay that.

I had it planned to do a numbers run on a 3 day blast through Appleton, Oshkosh and Neenah back in April 23 or so. But a combination of illness and bad weather prevented that.

Then I was supposed to do it at the Mascoutin Trail last Tuesday. Of course it rained hard that day. I couldn’t get a bike carrier anyways.

Finally, I said “f*** it. I’ll get the milestone wherever the Nuvi takes me.”

My son had a tennis match today in Marquette so I used the opportunity to go caching there, then remembered Brian’s post about Hogback elsewhere on this forum so I went there after I got up to 599. That didn’t work out either as you can see from my log.

Finally, the milestone is done and over with and I can move on. Maybe I can get someone with an SUV or pickup to do Hogback with one of these days.

Bartrod, I hope to hit the 1K by the summer summer is over, but I think I’m as likely to find 1000 caches as Trevor Hoffman is to get 10 saves for the season 😛
