No , it’s not what you’re thinking, it’s not even caching related, but it’s a big personal milestone for me.

This morning I ran 2 miles in 25 minutes, and did it non-stop. I know it’s no big deal for avid runners, but it’s a first for me. Even back in my Football days I never tried nor had to run that far. When I did it this morning 2 months ahead of my goal, I think I woke some of the neighborhood with my wooohooo’s and dancing.

I started running just over 2 months ago, and at the time, I was winded and had to slow to a walk for a few minutes after running just 200 yards. I figured this 2 mile achievement would take until the end of summer.

My next goal is 3 miles in 30 minutes. This one I suspect will take a lot longer.

    TOOT! TOOT!

    CONGRATULATIONS!

It’s nice to set a goal and then reach it. Way to go.

Great job! Way to go. Last time I ran that far was about 14 years ago. Don’t now haw fast though. Keep it up.

Hey, that’s a great accomplishment! Walking’s more my game–never could get the running down after I turned 10 or so. Just keep moving, I say.

Looking forward to your 6 in 60 in another few months (or sooner?).

Hm-mmmm. Maybe you’ll be going faster. You’re already doing 6 mph, so with more endurance you will start cutting down the times.

    Way to go!
I could probably do six MPH for about two minutes… and then spend twenty three minutes catching my breath.
    Congrats!

Thanks for all the kind compliments! You all can come see me at the finishline of the Boston Marathon next year. 😉 😆 NOT!
