I’ve got a question related to travel bugs. Would it be considered bad form to re-visit a cache I’ve already been to in order to pick up a TB and move it along (we’re headed to Orlando soon) or should I only grab TBs from caches new to me and leave TBs in caches I’ve already been to for someone else?

Although you cannot claim a “find” for re-visiting a cache, I see no harm done in occasionally grabbing a TB IF you are helping it in it’s goal. I might even go out of my way to do this if a bug has been stranded in one cache for an excessive amount of time. Some people seem to have a greater interest in hunting travelers than caches, but to each their own, I guess.
Most importantly, don’t hold on the bug! Get it back in another cache ASAP. On my TB page, I request cachers don’t take it if they are going to have it more than a couple of weeks. It’s sad to see how many travelers have ended up HERE

    Cathunter,

Thanks for your thoughts. They’re in line with where I’m at but I wanted to see if there are other opinions that I haven’t yet considered before I snatch a TB or two and help them to a warmer climate.

Agreed. Just post a note to do the pickup. Actually, I’ve revisited a cache with my Brother and sister-in-law (to show them geocaching) because it was was an “easy” one. I just posted a note recording our visit

People post notes like this to help along TBs all the time, especially at our TB spa in Deforest.
