My limit isn’t even near being touched-I would be happy to do it. Only thing is it would have to wait to after MWGB. So say sometime next week I can get it going. If you know of tribute caches you want on the list-besides Zuma’s already started list-please let me know

Thanks Dean. You can start with my list, and then add in the ones from DB’s profile, and Trekkin & Birdin’s profile. You probably want to leave out the ones that are out of state, to keep the list managable.

You might want to do 2 lists. 1 list of silver ammo cans, and 1 list of gold ammo cans.

Do you just put one of these out for someone you know? Are there some cachers who wouldn’t want this recognition? How do you know if someone else has plans to put a silver ammo can out, and can there be more than one for a certain cacher? Will the bookmark lists have the cachers’ names in the cache title so that we know who has been paid tribute to already?

The Big Question–who will still be around to do a tribute cache for us when we hit 1000 in, oh say, 2020? Maybe Noah!? 😉

When I first started doing it, those questions were not relevent, as I was the only one doing it. Since DB and T&B started doing it also, they have checked with me first so we didnt duplicate efforts. I think if you start doing in the rest of the state, ya might want to informally ask around to see if others are going to do it. Now that DB has put out a few, he takes the inititive in the area west of me, where he is closer. Likewise, I assume T&B will take the lead in LAX, like they have done recently with several great tribute caches

As to duplicates, there are a handful. I put one out for DB, and Mutsley also did one in MN, so there is a MN and WI edition, which I dont think is a big deal, and DB has lots of friends in both states. (There is also a MN and WI edition of a gold 5k ammobox for zuma, which is fine with me, since I also have friends in MN and WI.)

BTW, checking the recent 1k lists, I see Rick Blick and Chick havent gotten a silver ammo box yet. I wont be able to get over to the Wausau area until after geobash, but will put one out in a few weeks. unless someone from the Wausau area would like the honor of doing so, and if so, just send me an email so I dont duplicate your effort.

Ok all, I created at least the start of a Bookmark for this called Wisconsin Tribute Caches. 16 in total taken from Zuma, DB, & T&B. I only listed those in Wisconsin, just a few things: If you see I missed one please let me know, being all of these are on the Western Side of the State and I am Eastern I dont want to overlook anybody. If there is a cache in Minnesota that should be included again let me know and if there is a good reason I will include it.

Now for those of us on the other side of the state, there are several teams over on this side that are closing in. Two of them I would be happy to get but can we get some of us together to pick up some of the other ones.

Finally as new ones come out please let me know so I can add them to my list
