Knew about Laura and have been to Knowwhere, AZ but it was so long ago I thought it was spelled Nowhere.
Keeping the brain stimulated with all this trivia so I always stay young….

09/19/2007 at 8:44 pm #1878990I stand corrected! I think there is a Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum over by Deco rah Iowa, I’ve often considered putting a cache there.
As for Harmony Minnesota, the story goes that back when the town’s founding fathers were originally discussing what to name their new Utopia, there was some heated debate. A wise elder stepped forward and said “Can’t well all just live in harmony?”.

Mount Horeb is the Troll Capital of the World. Roger, got a cache there yet???
Bloomer is the Jump Rope Capital of the World.
Somerset is the Inner Tubing Capital of the World.
Monroe is the Swiss Cheese Capital of the World.
Mercer is the Loon Capital of the World.
Eagle River is the Snowmobile Capital of the World.
Sheboygan is the Bratwurst Capital of the World.
Green Bay is the Toilet Paper Capital of the World.

You are quick man! Correct. So are there any caches in honor of Liberace or Grandma Walton??? – I wonder if she is buried here in WI? I know already about the Houdini monument in Appleton, it has one of our fav caches, Metamorphosis GCNA82

I’m sure this cache wasn’t specifically dedicated to him, but The Dickeyville Grotto reminded me of Liberace.
