Over the weekend we found our second WhereIGo cache, so we do not have a lot of experiences to speak from, but it is well put together. This one is well worth the time and effort to go experience it as it is truly an interactive multi and I can see where this could be the future of geocaching. One word of warning, do not insult the troll about the lenght of his tail. He gets a bit offended about that!
I will be in Mt. Horeb next week, and I planned to do this one!
Do you have a rough measurement of how long it took you to complete?
I would guess you could get it done in about a half hour.
We took much longer. There were 4 of us fumbling around, the dogs hopped out at one point, we checked out the grumpy troll bar, the chocolate shop, and chamber of commerce. It was the Keystone cops.
If I remember the order correctly, drive to #2, pull up a bit then walk for #3,4 & 5, drive to 6 and drive to 7 or something close to that. And the cartridge ran flawlessly. Better than even the demo cartridge. You can tell a lot of time went into the programming. It even has pictures.
Cool! Thanks for the info!
I always try to hit the Grumpy Troll for a Black Bean Burger and a root beer!
Now that the mustard museum is moving, I need more excuses to travel to Mt. Horeb!
just did this wherigo for my second time today and i enjoyed it as much for the 1st time as much as the 2nd.
and yes the grumpy troll is a must eat when in the area.
We did this one on Saturday and had a blast. Well executed, fun tour and the presentation of it made it really fun. Highly recommended.
We did this as our 1st Wherigo on Saturday and enjoyed it alot. We drove to the 2nd stop and then walked to the rest of them. We weren’t in any rush and just had fun with it. We also did 1 other this weekend so I don’t have much to compare with but I would recommend it to all-very enjoyable.
