    Do you want to see migratory birds that don’t migrate? The Milwaukee County Zoo has a few thousand. They keep the ponds open and feed them. There is no reason for them to leave.

    Saw 7 robins about 2 miles west of Ripon this morning, on the way to the Dells. 🙂

    Photo in today’s paper of a robin that stayed up in the Eagle River area all winter. Hope they know something we don’t about spring coming early.

    When I was out feeding the birds a couple of days ago, I swear I heard a robin. Couldn’t spot the bird, though. And we don’t have any crabapples on our tree this winter, so it wasn’t one of our frequent “wintering over” robins.

    Some of the other birds are starting to do some of their spring calls, which is always welcome to hear.
