I’m enjoying the stories so far on rpaske’s post about meeting other cachers on the trail. But now, I also want to know – what do you all do when you meet a *geomuggle* (non-cacher) on the trail?

Already put those answers on the other page … which is wrong, since they belong here (my bad) … but in summary, it’s very handy to have a geocaching business card … with your code name, first names (maybe), http://www.geocaching.com, and brief explanation.

I’ve posted an image of our card: goto the photo album page of this website, click on our EnergySaver photo album.

The card works very well. We have been handing them out and sticking them in caches for over a year now. They seem to do the trick.

If they ask what i’m doing, I explain what geocaching is and tear off the top of my printout so they can look it up on the net. if they are just walking by i say hi and keep going.
