A few months back, a fellow cacher and I placed a cache in La Crosse, WI while traveling to a wedding (we are from Chicago). Upon trying to publish the cache when we returned, we were informed that it needs a local to maintain it. Being relative cachenoobs at the time, we hadn’t considered that when placing it.
If you, or someone you know, would be willing to adopt our cache, please let me know. It is a small matchstick container with a log only and therefore minimal work to maintain. The geocaching.com page is already typed and ready to go. We just need to let the Admins know who the new maintainer is to publish. Any help is much appreciated.
