This was sent out by Pharmgirl on the cache page, but bears reposting here. We work every year to bring new ideas to the Bash and this year is no exception! We definitely have some fun things planned in the beautifully and newly remodeled Regner Park! Here is what Pharmgirl posted on the cache page. If there is something or some type of cache that you are interested in having – throw it out there. Maybe one of us can try to make it happen for you! Pathtags from prior years will be available to cachers with a donation, but no pathtag specific for the Cache Bash this year will be minted. We have a beautiful coin instead!
New this year! We are happy to announce that a limited supply of Limited Edition Cache Ba$h Geocoins will be available to purchase during the event! $10/each; No advance orders. First come, first served until supply is sold out.
The Wisconsin Geocaching Association is also planning to sell a special pathtag at Sunday’s delicious All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast. They are currently running a design contest for this pathtag. You may submit your idea by May 28 at the WGA website.
Also new this year: A Chirp Cache will be placed in Regner Park. More information about this innovative type of cache and how you can search for it will be posted to the cache page as the event draws near. Stay tuned!
For those with kids, several caches will be placed in various parks around West Bend as part of a Family-Friendly Park Tour. Also, be sure to bring your swimsuits and take advantage of Regner Park’s Pool and Splash Pad.
Regner Park is currently undergoing some great improvements that you will enjoy at this year’s Ba$h, including a stage and new bathrooms.
