All WGA registrations must be updated (renewed) annually. To do this log in, click on your account, scroll down and make sure all information is correct. Make sure the “I am over 16” and “I ahve read and agree to the terms of use” boxes are checked then click update profile.
Hi,This is 3 Hawks (Matt Hawkins). I have been a member of the WGA for over 10 years, but don’t visit the WGA site very often. I’ve voted in prior elections, but it has been a few election cycles since I last voted. I get the member e-mails and can “log in” to the WGA site with my user name and password. My geocaching.com user token has been refreshed, I marked the “I am over 16” and “I ahve read and agree to the terms of use” boxes, and I updated profile.However, I am still unable to vote in the WGA BOD election because the site says I’m either not logged in or I’m not an active member. I am unable to view the member map and don’t have access to many other site features.I’m at a bit of a loss and the experience has reminded me why I have not visited the WGA webpage in a long time.Any recommendations??Respectfully,Matt (3 Hawks)Never mind. I was finally able to figure out the correct way to access and update my membership profile. What a PITA!!!
I apologize for the inconvenience that you have experienced. As a website committee we are hoping to put some time to improving things on the website over the next year. We know and are aware of many needs for improvement and have been working to address them. During this election, it has been brought to our attention about the clarity of membership status and renewing and will be looking into that. I ask for continued patience as we work to improve the site as we are all volunteers.
