My main goal at the WGA campout was to meet new people and swap stories. My secondary goal was to learn how to upload coordinates to my GPS…

Turns out that I had all of the pieces all along…

For awhile now, we’ve been receiving a pocket query each week giving us the 100 caches closest to our house which we have NOT found yet. I just never knew what to do with it. We also had EasyGPS installed in our computer for about six months and really never knew what to do with that either! Well… 2+2 really does equal 4! With just a couple easy keystrokes, mouse clicks and a patch cord I now have those 100 caches uploaded to my GPS without having to punch in one single coordinate.

Thanks to Otter, “Should have Bought Him the Tie”, Ms. WISearcher, JTHORSON, GrouseTales, etc… for clearing up the ambiguity about all of this technology…

It’s funny how a great weekend doesn’t really sink in until it’s all over. We had a GREAT time and are eagerly anticipating the next WGA function which we can fit in to the social calendar.

    Thanks!

    Jeff
