Hi,
I recently purchased a Garmin Nuvi 200 and have been working on loading caches to an SD card using POI Loader but when I start POI Loader it doesn’t do anything. I have no on screen buttons that say next or anything of the kind. Has anyone had this problem with POI Loader before? I was able to load caches onto the Nuvi’s internal memory by dragging a .gpx file into the garmin/gpx folder on the Nuvi but would really like to be able to use the SD card for geocaches if at all possible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob “Averith” England
Hi,
I use the nuvi 350, and assume (which might not be true) that the POI loader works the same. For me, I use GSAK, export the file to txt file. Then from POI, click on that file, and all the waypoints load in. It is pretty simple, as it would have to be for a non-techie person like me to figure it out. (actually, Robin figured it out, and showed me how to do it, but that is admitting too much.)
