I’ve had a travel bug sticker on the cheetomobile for awhile now but I hadn’t had any logs on it until visiting the cache bash.
How many of you have travel bug stickers on your vehicles?
How many have had their vehicle “retrieved” by a cacher rather than discovered? (I ask because mine was retrieved from the bash — coincidentally I took it back from them and logged a silly note)
I also found it interesting how many people where taking pictures of my sticker 🙂

08/17/2009 at 1:53 am #1912441We have a sticker on our cache mobile, and a magnet that we stick on it when we are only at a event, we had it logged many times while at MWGB, but only once while out caching. We took many pictures of other cachemobiles while at MWGB, not that im lazy its just so much easier than writing them all down. the digital age is great, might as well use it.
08/17/2009 at 1:59 am #1912442i have one on my truck… it gets discovered all the time when parked on the street since there’s a cache nearby. always have discoveries at events… but had a vehicle catch up to me after i passed them once. in their log they said i went by too fast for them to write it all down!
08/17/2009 at 2:28 am #1912443I have had mine on my truck for almost a year and a half, and have never had a retrieval, only discoveries. All discoveries were at events except for the one from my son, and one from a guy at work.
08/17/2009 at 2:34 am #1912444We have a couple of these, one on our van and then one on our camper and the wife’s car (came with 2 stickers). So far we have only had one person log them and only because he was caching with us that day. We were hoping that the one for the camper would have been here before we left for vacation (it showed up later that day).
If you are in LaCrosse keep an eye out, my wife works at a Kwik Trip there so her car sits in their parking lot and she’s hoping somebody spots it.08/17/2009 at 2:39 am #1912445I’ve got one on Ol’ Betsy. It’s only been logged a few times. Probably since it’s been sitting in the driveway most of the time for the last 3 months and I put it on there about 3 1/2 months ago.
08/17/2009 at 1:04 pm #1912446We hit the “Seek and Ye Shall Find” cache at the Bash this weekend and discovered this beauty…

The TB has been custom-painted on the side of the truck. It was definitely very cool!
08/17/2009 at 1:11 pm #1912447I have a tb sticker on my car and it has only been discovered at events. Keep hoping it will be found some where that I wouldnt expect it to be found. But I do get a lot of comments about my license plate. I think everyone is so interested in it and they forget to look if there is a tb tag.

Until after you started this thread. 😮

Someone just retrieved our Suburban…Too Funny! 😀
08/18/2009 at 3:49 am #1912450I have logged a couple but since I have one permanently tattooed on my ankle, I’ll pass on the car. LOL
08/18/2009 at 4:49 am #1912451😀 Anne just has to hang her foot out the window to make her car trackable.
08/18/2009 at 2:02 pm #1912452Yeah, I accidentally retrieved her ankle once, LOL.
08/18/2009 at 5:13 pm #1912453We have one on the family truckster since November, but have only got hits from my sisters so far. Went to MOGA in March and took the car for the gas mileage, but I wished I had the SUV with the TB. Have had it up to Boy Scout camp a few times where I figured it may get noticed, but not yet.
08/18/2009 at 10:05 pm #1912454The other day, my cache sheet told me somebody’s van was in a small cache container. Needless to say, the bug was “missing”.
