OK I have had two cachers log my First Baby cache by sending the information to me but never visiting the site. Not sure how GC feels about this but I don’t like it one bit. I have deleted the logs for both both Carl Johnson and AnnaGram. It looks like they just do the virtual visit thing.

Here are their profiles you may want to check their logs.

They can travel over 4000 miles in one day. They can find real caches in Germany and virtuals in Wisconsin on the same day. They must be smoking something.

I had entertained the thought of doing some vrtuals from other countries like that once. I decided that I would just be cheating myself by doing that. Haven’t thought about since. I would have deleted their logs as well.

So I guess this is a common thing?

Sorry!ItŽs me again. Feel free to delete my log if you donŽt accept virtuell research.Maybe it would be a good idea, if you mention it in your cache listing, that you donŽt agree virtuel founds. Anyway, I had fun with your cache.Have a nice day!AnnaGram

I deleted their log on our Soldier of the American Revolution and got the same reply. Must be an accepted method in Germany but I disagree and did add wording to our cache page. When making the cache we asked questions that could only be found by visiting, then later the cemetery sign was changed.

This is a VER common practice in Germany. I’ve seen this come up in a furum before. There are cachers in Germany with hundreds, if not thousands of virtual finds. It’s their way of playing the game.
