The WGA will hold its annual Campout at Hartman Creek State Park on May 20 – 22, 2011. We are currently seeking volunteers to serve on the Campout Committee. If you are interested in volunteering, please PM me or make a comment in this thread.
Just as a reminder, all of our committees are empowered committees, so it is up to committee members to help decide what the event will be like, as well as help staff the event. If you have ideas on what we can do to make our events even better, then that is a good reason to volunteer to work on this committee. Or if you are planning on attending anyway, and would like to help out at the event, then that is another good reason to volunteer.
Also as a reminder, the committee has no physical meetings to attend. All the work is done here in the forums, in a thread that is visible only to members of the campout committee.
And as a third reminder, all 9 of the board members are automatically on this committee, so you dont have to volunteer again. You already have. 🙂
