Voting in the the 2010 WGA Board of Directors election has begun! Click here to go to the election page and cast your votes for your favorite candidates. WGA members may vote for up to 5 of the candidates before voting closes on Sunday, February 14th at 11:59pm.
Here are some general notes about this phase of the Board of Directors election process.
- Since there are 5 open Board positions, members may vote for up to 5 of the candidates.
- If you try to vote for more than 5 candidates, all your votes will be thrown out and you’ll be given a chance to vote again.
- Once you vote, you cannot vote again. Therefore, if you vote for fewer than 5 candidates, you can’t come back and vote for more. Also, you can’t change your votes (so get them right the first time!).
- Voting will end at precisely 11:59pm on Sunday, February 14, 2010.
- The 5 candidates with the highest vote totals at the end of voting will fill the open Board positions.
If you have any general questions about this phase of the election process, feel free to post them in the Candidates Corner 2010 forum. If you experience technical problems with the voting system or trouble with your WGA member account, you can contact Jeremy (jvechinski).
The three election monitors this year are Gwyn Calvetti, Brian Geoffrey, and Jeremy Vechinski. At the end of the election they need to tally the votes and “certify” the election. Because of this, the official results may not be announced for a day or two after voting closes.

Last call folks… you have until the end of the weekend to vote in the Board election. Many members have already participated, but we are below the record number of voters we had last year.

Patience.
02/15/2010 at 6:04 pm #1921342Do we have any exit polls or projections? Can we see maps of which color each county is? 😆
02/15/2010 at 8:49 pm #1921343lol
You would be letting people know who I voted for if you color-coded the Burnett county vote. There are probably several other counties with only 1-2 people voting.
Congratulations early to whomever won seats on the Board!
02/15/2010 at 9:05 pm #1921344I just checked that color-coded county map and it really didn’t give me any useful information. It seems that someone colored them all camoflauge.
