Walkingadventure gains perspective at a Pergola

Walkingadventure joined the 1K club yesterday and it was a long time coming. They’ve been at is since the middle of 05 and have recently initiated a flurry of activity in the valley to reach this goal. So much so that I thought these guys were relatively new to caching, until I looked them up. Guys, your next goal should be to tag a couple 5/5’s 🙂

So very nice to see that and so very nice of you to help us in placing GC1F4R7. And, we always wondered why you had not turned that into a smiley face. Now we know why! Excellent choice for Number 1000.

We drive by the Pergola very often on our way to Puzzletown and we always get a smiley face knowing that you helped gettting it placed.

When we started, out goal was for 100 a year which we mostly fulfilled through 2008 when we attended the 1st West Bend Cache Bash. After that, all heck broke loose and we couldn’t get enough.

Now I’ve placed more caches and find my available caches farther from home. This is when the sport will start getting expensive with all the traveling.

Thanks for all the good wishes and the fun you all give to this odd recreation we do.
