Certainly tempted by this. Got excited when I saw another tour of Berlin as a cache (did the other one but whiffed on the final for a DNF), but then saw it was Wherigo with us lacking in the necessary equipment. 🙁 Would love to see how this all works, so we’ll keep an eye on the weather and our social calendar.
If you make the big event today we’ll knock this one off for you as well. I know where I found it which is where it’s supposed to be and weathernowcast just checked on it a few days ago when he was in town.

Yep, we’ll be there, but the CO already emailed us, so we’ve narrowed our search area. Got one in Forsyth Park to take care of, too.

Looks like we’ll have quite a gang. Maybe we can menace little old ladies in the street 😉
I think we would be much better received if we strolled along the sidewalks entertaining everyone with Christmas caroling, in keeping with the spirit of the holiday. But we would need a song leader . . . Pete?

The Christmas decorations are up here, so you’ll get to stand amongst them. You can literally “Elf Yourself” here.
12/07/2009 at 1:34 am #1917623A pretty good turn out for the “demonstration”. We got ‘er done, one way or another!
12/07/2009 at 1:51 am #1917624Technology threw us a curve ball but as Jim says – We got ‘er done.

12/07/2009 at 2:01 am #1917626Sandlanders you made it? I thought I talked to everyone but must not.
12/07/2009 at 2:09 am #1917627What’s geocaching without a few obstacles? If it’s all about the journey, we had an informative and interesting one. And if it’s all about the smiley, we got that too. And if it’s all about the socializing, yeah, we did some of that. And if it’s all about the technology, there was more than we could handle. Thanks for opening this up to everyone. It was a neat experience!

Both sandlanders were there. I was hanging back taking lots of photos. I’m not as in-your-face as I can be here. 😉

12/07/2009 at 2:31 pm #1917631I have to say that I had one of the nicest days caching Sunday that I’ve had in a long time, even though my numbers were not super high. All of the things I like about caching such as caches in nice interesting places, thoughtful welll camoed containers, and to top it off a gathering of old and new friends for the wherigo. Hats off to the local cachers here that made my day so enjoyable!
12/07/2009 at 6:59 pm #1917632I must say that the technology part broke down. But the socializing part made up for it.
It sure was an enjoyable afternoon. Thanks for letting us be a part of it. Hope to see you all again soon. Happy holidays.12/07/2009 at 7:00 pm #1917633I must say that the technology part broke down. But the socializing part made up for it.
