Astro-D and I have been talking about a series of caches along the lines of Space Opera. They will be Puzzles caches based on space series, such as Star Trek.

So, anyone in the Green Bay area interesting in ‘owning’ one of them?

    SO 1 – Star Gate – Astro-D
    SO 2 – Star Trek
    SO 3 – Dr Who
    SO 4 – Red Dwarf
    SO 5 – Star Wars
    SO 6 – Battlestar Gallatica
    SO 7 – Blake’s Seven
SO 8 – Lost in Space
    SO 9 – The Jetsons
    SO 10 – ?

Any other programs someone is interested in?

Each puzzle will involve 6 questions, to answer for the North and West seconds of the final codes. The questions should be of relatively common knowledge from the program, or easily found on the Internet. Overall Difficulty should not be above 3.

We have a location to place as many of these as possible.

    Post your interests here.

We’d be in for Star Trek…I know I could come up with some Jolene Blalock trivia…

Just wanted to know… I can EASILY setup a new private board for those of us working on these if we want to bounce ideas / work toward consistancy / work together on a FINAL puzzle, etc…

As a matter of fact, I may go do that right now… Let me know and I can share the URL privately to those working on this if this is an idea you would like 🙂

No plans for a final puzzle. Just a series related to space.

And remember, the six questions should be relatively easy to answer. Time for some easy, fun puzzles.

    What, I said THAT???!!!!

I would love to be part of this series though it’s impossible, given my location.

Being a complete Sci-Fi geek, I do have a few program suggestios for the last cache.

    1. Sapce 1999
    2. Buck Rogers
    3. Flash Gordon
    4. Futurama
    5. Babylon 5
    6. Alien Nation
    7. “V”
    8. The Outer Limits

Have fun with the series. I sure wish I could take part.

Sweet! 😀 Although I’m not sure this would be pure Star Trek in my eyes. 😉

I did not think of that one.

Probably not enough space, to be an opera.

    Will consider it……

    Hey! I resemble that remark!!!

Just cause I drop about three to four grand a year to go to a Stargate convention……..

Are you lumping all the Star Trek series together or are you going to have a seperate cache for each series?

    #1896130

We are doing one cache for the whole Star Trek “franchise,” unless Mr. 5-digits decrees otherwise.

Hey marc…this sounds like a good idea. I was never huge into any of these shows (besides the Jetsons), but I would love to put out a part of the series.

I will take Battlestar Gallatica, that sounds fun. I am assuming you mean the classic version not the new one on Sci-Fi. Give me more info when the time comes to put out this “classic”

    Thanks.

I’ve already requested Battlestar Gallactica and started working on some trivia. But, if your really in to that one, just let me know and I’ll pick another and forward some of the interesting info I’ve found! Space 1999 or Buck Rogers would be my next choice.
