One thing– Make sure the seller gives you a real reciept that does not mention e-bay or auction. Garmin warranty does not apply if your reciept shows it to be an auction item.

Not trying to change your mind but both of my GPS’s and several accessories were purchased on eBay, among other items. People live and die by feedback.
I wont try to change your mind either. I will say that i’ve done nearly $10,000 in E-Bay transactions, and have yet to be stiffed. Like Steve said, feedback ratings are the primary indicator, and knowing the product well is the best thing a buyer can do.
