Is there anyone interest in running a geocaching event on September 30, 2006 in downtown Port Washington, WI?

It would be run in connection with Port’s Harvest Festival. Funding for costs (photocopies, trinkets, etc.) would be provided by the Port Washington Business Improvement District. I ran this event last year and was asked to run it again this year; however I “used up” all MY favorite spots last year, so it’s time for someone elses creativity. For the most part the temporary hides would be located in the city, with just a few in some light woods in the area.

If interested, email me directly (to my “EnergySaver” profile on geocaching.com). This would obviously need to be someone local to the area or willing to make several trips. If the right person steps forward, I will give them: the contact information, details/suggestions from the past, etc.

C’mon…I feel sure that you could find a few places to hide stuff! There’s always the guy who sells fruit instead of the one who sells veggies. And what about having a person holding a pole with a cache on the end of it instead of in the sign. C’mon Ron…you can do it!

😆 Thanks for making me laugh (I’m sorry for making me LOL) … if you were here right now I’d throw a film canister at you (one with a magnet on it so it would stick). I know I could force myself, but my hearts not in it, since I gave it my all last year (regarding finding spots I liked) … why do it if it’s not fun. 😉

Film canister? An attack? Hmmmmm! (LOL!)
I agree that if you’re heart isn’t in it, you shouldn’t do it. Fun is very important. Guess I’m just sad that I won’t be able to play in Port this summer. Last year, Joe and I had such a great time. I wanted to repeat that with Bob this year (he was fishing last year…blah!). Let us know if plans change…we’d love to make a run up.
