I work for the YMCA in Waukesha. We’ve all heard the song, but did you know that we are a non-profit community organization? Anyway, we are planning out our summer program and are planning on doing several classes on geocaching for older children. Many of the children in our summer camps are low-income and are there on scholarships from the YMCA. In order to do this we try and keep costs down where we can. My supervisor is hoping to find some more working GPS units so that we can have more of the kids involved be able to get the whole experience of using the GPSr to find the cache, and not just follow the one person there that is holding it. If any of you have upgraded to a new unit and have an old one gathering dust somewhere we would love to take it off your hands. If you would be so kind to donate it we can give you a tax form so that you can write off your donation value on your taxes. If you have one that you would like to sell us for a small price we may be able to do that as well, but then you wouldn’t be able to write off the donation on your taxes. Please feel free to email me privately to discuss any arrangements.

      Thank you! 😀

Oh the woes of the short geocacher!
