“Watching” the Picnic cache page?

I see there are 3 people still “watching” the cache page.

I wonder how it feels to have almost 1,000 e-mails in your mailbox?

I’m the lucky one who currently has ownership of the Wisconsin Geocaching Association account. That means that I’ve receive all the “owner notifications”.

I cleared out 900+ emails yesterday, and this morning I have another 167 waiting. At least they go to one of my little used email accounts. I just hit “select all” and “delete”. Still takes a long time to delete over 1000 emails when you can only get rid of 25 at a time.

I’ve been posting notes on the cache page to remind people to remove themselves from the watch list. After sending out 2 notices, I figure some people actually WANT to get them.

Gee…I know I only own a couple of caches, but I read each and every post before I delete them. I mean, people take the time to write a log, shouldn’t the cache owner at least pretend to be interested in what they have to say? LOLOL!!! JUST KIDDING!!!

I accidentally forgot to remove New Glarus from my watchlist before that event…I was gone for a few days after it was over… imagine my surprise when I came home to 400+ pieces of mail! BLAH! So I can understand how it must be for the picnic.

Good luck with that! As for me…no more watchlists! EVER! If I don’t own it, I won’t watch it!
