Water Caches?

We are trying to finalize the plans for our Ba$h experience and was wondering how many water caches there would be this year. Will rentals be available at the spots of those caches again this year. The 6 from the River and the 3 in the lake over the past 2 years were highlights! Thanks for any input you can give!

My understanding, from discussions with some of those in the know, is that there will not be any new water caches this year. However, the cache page doesn’t mention it specifically.

Looking at the caches pending for the event, I only see one with a high terrain rating, and that one appears to be…..questionable.

There may be one cache that requires some sort of boat or floatable… maybe. With the summer drought, a lot of the streams are totally dry. It’s not my cache so I don’t know where it is or how necessary a boat is.

(In my humble opinion, I am guessing some of the terrain ratings are way over-rated.)

But otherwise, no water caches this year. Expect lots of hiking.

Thank you for all the feedback. We will plan on the bikes, but no need for water gear. Today’s rain may make things a little sloppy.
