We will be bringing (donating) a new small flashlight.
Since I buy most of my outdoor gear at REI, I thought I’d see if they’d donate anything for the picnic. Here is the reply from the Milwaukee Special Events Coordinator:
Dear Chad-
I will leave a gift certificate for a free climbing party (at REI for
up to 10 climbers, it’s retail value is $65 and the party needs to be
booked a month in advance) on my desk. Since this request is so last
minute, you will need to pick it up from the store. In exchange, I’d love for you or
someone from your organization to give a Geocaching clinic some Tuesday
night at REI. We do weekly educational clinics that are free and open
to the public, on Tuesday’s starting at 7pm. Let’s set a date!I will pick it up on Friday. Anyone else interested in giving the Clinic with my wife and I?

We will be adding a Magellan Hat to the cache of prizes. Aquired from this summer’s treasure hunt. Drove to Minneapolis trying to find it early with only the clue’s. Had to leave before the coord’s were posted, but thanks to Geocacher RickRich of Mn. He was nice enough to send me a coupon for my troubles.
