Went out and shoveled again. Maybe 10 -12 inches now, with drifting. My road is still not plowed and there was a car stuck in front of my house. Some guy who apparently though that spinning his tires as fast as could would be a useful strategy.

In another lull here. Got the first batch blown and shoveled, and the wind was wicked when we were going into it. We’re under a blizzard warning from 6:00 p.m. till noon tomorrow. Could get really nasty.
it is now 34 degrees and raining hard. What a day.
Manitowoc— 35 degrees. So far no rain or snow. 😀
I have drizzle and misting here in Milwaukee near the lake kind of.
No snow around here. The rain finally started at about 2:30. Spent most of the day being the phone-a-friend to the 46 cachers who attended our event this morning. The calls have ended now so hopefully everyone is home safe.
.
At 3:38, nothing.
At 3:42, snowing hard!
The white death is at the door! 😯
For a system driven by strong winds, it sure took its time crossing the state, didn’t it?
Still nothing in Appleton…

Wind is picking up, really blowing now.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
Yup,
I said it better turn ugly and it sure has. We have around 10 inches on the ground- maybe more. I did the driveway an hour ago and there’s another two or three inches on it again. The wind is picking up and while I can see the house across the street still I can’t see the ones three or four houses down at all.
Still would have been pretty sweet to ride this out in the cabin. But I’m glad I don’t have that drive home tomorrow.

Snowing in appleton now.
I can smell the chili cooking for supper.
Jim has shoveled 3 times… at least 8 inches here in Eagle River. The wind as kicked in too. Just hibernating here. No place to go anyway.

Raining like crazy here right now, and the wind is blowing pretty good as well. Should get really interesting once this changes to all snow.
