Dick’s out for the second time. He wanted to clear things before the nasty cold, but it hasn’t completely stopped here yet. I’m guessing at least 8 inches now.
Gotta remember to watch the news for his yooper shoveling technique, too. Off to make an interesting supper. “Smoky Bacon and Squash Campanelle.”
Bacon being the key word here, LOL12/11/2010 at 11:02 pm #1940084Another 2-3 inches, and it’s blowing everywhere. We just bailed on an open house invitation for this evening. When our driver, who has a 4WD, says it’s too nasty to go out, who are we to argue? She also told us that she heard the county was pulling their plows now. Till morning? Don’t know.
12/11/2010 at 11:07 pm #1940085Minnesota pulled the plows earlier today. According to our NWS, at 4PM the unofficial snowfall was around 9 inches. It’s let up some, but still coming.
Off to fry some bacon, for real this time!
12/11/2010 at 11:20 pm #1940086Interesting to hear what’s going on around the state. Here it’s 35 degrees and raining. Raining hard. There are only a few pitiful patches of snow left from earlier this week.
12/11/2010 at 11:35 pm #1940087Nice and heavy snowfall now in the Fox Valley, with a blizzard warning issued. And the pollen count is way, way down! 😉
12/11/2010 at 11:55 pm #1940088Not bad in NE WI…the deer are still moving around 😀

Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
12/12/2010 at 12:01 am #1940089we have at least 8″ here now, wind is picking up
12/12/2010 at 12:17 am #1940090Snow has begun to fall in Sheboygan, coming down at a pretty good clip at the moment. Scanner is reporting A LOT of vehicles going in the ditch on hwy’s 23 & 43.
12/12/2010 at 12:35 am #1940091I took out a measuring stick and we have about 14 inches here in south side of Weston. Shoveled twice and filled up the feeders. Got plowed out once about noon—not going anywhere tonight or maybe not Sunday either. Just cookin and readin! Why can’t this happen when we are supposed to go to Work? The Nuns
12/12/2010 at 12:56 am #1940092We’ve got over a foot here.
12/12/2010 at 1:00 am #1940093Hard to tell here. I hard time opening the back door (i.e. 14+ inches) but once I got out most of the patio was clear. Most areas look like 4-6″ inches so far.
12/12/2010 at 1:09 am #1940094Just got back from finding 10 or so in the pouring rain…The Blizzard is on the way they project 16 inches for me after midnight…

Yup,
Still would have been pretty sweet to ride this out in the cabin. But I’m glad I don’t have that drive home tomorrow.

12/12/2010 at 2:01 am #1940097I don’t think it should come off in this many pieces when you unbolt it from the frame:
