Would it be possible for the “Quick Links” shown at the left side of the page to open a new window instead of just opening the page in the current window (and losing contact with the WGA site)?

For temporary at least, right click what you want to open instead of left click, and choose “open in a new window”.

If you’re using Firefox, you can control-click on a link to make it open in a new tab. (Or command-click a link in Safari to do the same thing.)

In good ‘ol Internet Explorer … holding down the [Shift] key while clicking does the trick too.

I for one like it the way it is … as I click around a fair amount and would hate to end up with 10 windows open.

I have to agree with EnergySaver here. I bounce around a lot too, and wind up with enough open windows. <<>>

Make up your mind guys! 😀 For now, I’ve got two votes to leave it alone and one to change it.

Having it not open in a new window by default may be preferable since there are ways to force the browser to open it in a new window/tab if this is what is desired… if we force it to open in a new window by default, this will happen for everyone and there is no way to stop it from happening.

It’s easy enough to open a second brouser session; No change needed here 🙂

My mind never changed … I like it the way it is.

As you stated, the way now you have choices: (a) click to open in same window, (b) shift-click to open in a new window.

As you also stated, if you change it then we’re all stuck with no options … it will then ALWAYS open in a new window. I like the current options … leave it be.

I agree, I use tabbed browsing in firefox and like links to open in a new tab. for all those people who hate having more than one window open, I recommend using tabbed browsing, even IE7 has it now(suppose to go public next month).

EDIT: I guess I can continue to use the rightclick/open in new tab as I have been for ages.

    Will it support Windows 3.1?

    Disclaimer: I was kidding.

    I like it as is.
