    Website Committee

    • Formation: Committee will be formed within one month of the annual Board organizational meeting following elections.
    • Purpose: To assist our Webmasters and Website Development
    • Membership: Volunteer Board Members and Volunteers from the WGA Community.
    • Conducting Business: A specific Website Committee Forum will be set up for all committee members to use in planning and work of the committee.
    • Goals: The Committee will discuss, prioritize, and implement any and all website improvements.

We are looking to fill out this committee with WGA Members and Friends who wish to be active participants in discussing, prioritizing and implementing new website improvement. You need not be tech savvy to be a member of this committee. In fact a few computer and web novices would round out the committee quite nicely.

If you have any questions, please post them below.

If you would like to volunteer, please either post your intentions below, send a Private Message to GeoPink or email me at [email protected]. While I’m sure many of you would be willing to serve on more than one committee, we are currently asking that you choose one committee on which to serve. If the need arises, we will revisit this policy.[/quote]

As I had mentioned, I am more then willing to help out in the area. 😀

Wow, I was just going to add you before you had to reply, but you beat me to it!

    Thanks for helping!

I’d like to help also — text writing, editing & proofreading would be my wheelhouse.

I would be willing to help as well. I have some limited experience with HTML, and what I don’t know I would be willing to learn. Let me know how I can be of assistance.

Depends a little on amount of time required, but I’m interested.

Very little of anything required. Currently the agenda looks like prioritizing a list of new website addons/updates and beta testing the storefront and registration process for the campout. Help out when you can! Thanks for volunteering!

I’ll help out where i can…I have coding and development experience.

If there is anything I can do. I’m available. I’m not much of a puter expert but I’ll do what I can.

Same here…I have some HTML knowledge but only enough to get me in trouble….I do post a lot though and have LOTS of opinions if that counts…

Sign me up! Love beta testing as well as data entry. I have the time and would love to help out anywhere I am able. If I am not able, I will bluff my way through. 😉

    #1871618

I would love to help. I am willing to beta test, help with coding (small level of expertise, but always looking for a reason to learn more), and basically anything else needed to spruce up the place a bit. 🙂

*edit* I realize this was my first post, but I have been lurking for awhile. I just took the winter off. I plan to be much more active now that spring is here, the kids are older, and am a little more knowledgeable. If my lack of participation in the past will keep me off the committee, I understand, and will try again at a later time.

Glad to finally get you posting! 🙂 I’m usually a lurker for quite a while, too before I jump into new things. We’re glad you’re willing to help us out!

I’d like to help in any way I could. I can get around a computer just fine, and can write a bit of HTML, but that’s about my limit.

    Done.
