ya know I’d be happy to Photoshop that chart as totally filled in for a small fee….
10/08/2008 at 1:20 pm #1896731It’s just the funniest thing….the one I know was changed is one we got the day AFTER we grabbed the WRC in Minnesota, so we didn’t even need it. I can’t remember what had filled the chart in that slot for us, but we’ll be refilling it as soon as we can. It bugs me, but not enough to pay you, LOL.
Only one other person did the one I know was changed, and that’s the owner’s brother, who is also relatively new to the game. Maybe on his advice some things were changed out to make it easier. It really did deserve the 5 difficulty when we did it, it was a stumper!

Make sure the email you have on the site is correct. When mine was expiring a few months ago, I got at least 3 emails reminding me to sign up.
My email address is correct, I checked to make sure.
I’ve also noticed that I no longer get notifications for new caches. I haven’t in months.
Sorry, didn’t mean to pirate this thread.
10/10/2008 at 2:45 am #1896733My MRI of my right knee came back today and I have another torn medial meniscus and will need a third surgery. It might be a while before I’m able to attempt anything over a true 3 terrain.
I still need: 1/4.5; 1.5/4.5; 1.5/5; 3.5/5; 4/4.5; 4/5; 4.5/3.5; 4.5/5; and last but not least….5/4.
Wouldn’t those all be fun to try in one day?
10/20/2008 at 6:40 pm #1896734Can we substitute, say a ‘Project Ape’ cache, for a CITO event?
10/21/2008 at 1:00 am #1896735Why not hold a CITO event and then log it? 🙂
10/21/2008 at 6:26 am #1896736Told Tammy about this and she suggested holding the CITO for our yard. Is she trying to tell me something?
I think the ‘Project Ape’ is a Wild Card! LOL
11/11/2008 at 11:48 pm #1896737Hey T & B!
80 down and 1 to go until I have all 81 squares of the matrix filled in. Was lucky this weekend and got the 5/4 and the 5/3.5, with an assist from THB and WI Robin. I had DNF’d both of em last year, but with 4 sets of eyes we were able to get em both.
All I have left now is the 4.5/3.5. I thought I had to Green Bay to get Astro-D’s cache “Ted’s Geocaching Adventure” which would fill in the last hole, but now I see that there are 2 in Iowa that are closer for me. So, I am not sure if I am going to be making a road trip to Green Bay or Iowa in the next few weeks to get the last D/T combination.
We had a great time getting the 5/4. If anyone is looking for a great cache that takes 90 – 120 minutes to find, I would suggest the Tischer Creek Cache. It is a several stage multi in a beautiful gorge with a raging creek running over a series of rapids and falls. Best to take help as there are a number of hard to find micros along the way, which are easier with multiple eyes. The cache is in Duluth. See GCMRQH for more details.

11/12/2008 at 12:01 am #1896738Hey Ralph, I think maybe we did some of those Iowa caches to fill that same hole, if they’re the ones in the Yellow River area near Harpers Ferry. Really nice area, I was there in early spring.
I looked at the one in Duluth and just had to laugh. I know that area well, because Dad grew up just up London Road and as kids, we spent a lot of time visiting Nana and Da there. We’re talking road trip to the North Shore next summer, so hopefully this one will still be active then. I still can’t get used to seeing the “Congdon place” called “Gleensheen,” though.
Didn’t you do the final for jenhen’s IAT loop? That’s a 4.5/3.5. Or do you mean 4.5 terrain? And….
Just curious. How close to filled is THB’s matrix now? 🙄 Maybe you can do it together. Give us a jingle when you head down! Congrats!

Yeah, I did the IAT one of Jenhen’s (another great cache BTW) and actually have 4 finds in the 4.5/3.5 slot. I need 3.5 D/4.5 T to finish out the matrix….
THB is close as well, and Seth threatened to beat me to your challenge cache if I dawdle too long getting the last one.

11/12/2008 at 5:24 pm #1896740Ralph, Try GCZRFJ for hiking or GC16HKT for boating. (It helps to have a really big database!)
