As I am I newbie to this great sport, I have been hitting the woods pretty good. Have 23 finds in 13 days. Not to bad for a start huh? Anyhow…back to the subject. In my travels, I have come across caches that are to have TB’s and Jeeps and they are not there. There is nothing in the logs as to who took them either cuz I have been checking to see. I’d say that this is happened to about 3 or four. One was in mystery cache I found this morning and there was no sign of it and nothing in the log. There was one that was placed on 6/14/05 and there’s nothing posted after that. Not sure what this post will do but might get people to get the details on tb’s posted.
Well the sad thing is that these things tend to be very collectible….Also some cachers keep them to “share” at events. There will be 5,500 new ones released next month (or so) so you will likely get to see one at that time (but don’t wait if you see one in a cache near you -run don’t walk if you want to see one).
In a weird fluke I got two in the same day a coupe weeks back so there are still some out there, you just have to be patient (and lucky).
