Seven years ago next month I experienced chest pains and ended up in the hospital just before Christmas and had a stent inserted into a 90% blocked artery. Up to that point we had only found less than thirty caches and it wasn’t really something that had much priority in our lives. Two weeks later we went for a rehab walk on the Bugline Trail. We found 8 caches that day and met 3 geocachers. We had never met anyone else caching which was not that uncommon back then. One of them was Earth Angel who told us about events. We attended our first later that month and we have been to over 100 events now and met many who we now consider great friends. Probably what amazes us the most is how we are accepted despite our age. We don’t consider ourselves to be old, but most of you would be our younger brothers or sisters or are even younger than our children. Our most frequent caching partners are Froggerz who are younger than our children. Being semi retired now geocaching has become more of a center of what we do and all of you are the friends that make this fun for us. So on this Thanksgiving day thanks to all of the cachers that we have met the past seven years.
We’re thankful for you too!

Thanks Bill & Vicki; it’s always a treat to go caching with you (with or without costumes) and we’re so glad for your friendship!
