Did ya tell her about the hot coco w/ mini mashmellos? I would think that be the deal maker!

Only if she drops me off and drives over to the outlet mall for 2 hours…hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

This is exactly how I’m thinking of trying to get “buy in” from my family. My wife was just talking about the Fond du Lac mall so maybe this will work.

I looked at this thing dozens of times when I lived down there…

And I bought 20 extra feet of tow strap..but I’ll probably be 6 feet short again..

Still working out a few details but 90% sure we’re in for this one.

I’d like to go, but I am still waiting to hear details of a possible family obligation. I will read the cache page and the logs and keep my eye on this thread for more information. I’ll post a definite yes if that is the case.

Why does everyone like to gather for swamps and other water? 🙁

        ’cause misery loves company
’cause we are not crazy enough to do it alone
’cause we’re all a bit nutz

’cause guardrails just don’t lend themselves to a group hunt.

Unless you’re trying to find 400+ caches in 24 hours…

So Pat, are you going to come swampin’ with us? 😉

Lets see we have snowshoes to try before the Bayfield trip and would like to see if we can do this. Just depends on when my niece and nephews birthday party is this weekend, and they get the priority

Got word from Gamers Gone Caching NOT to drive down School Road, as they barely made it out.
But the cattail report was positive… no water, just ice and snow.
I’ll post parking coordinates in the next day or 2, but the church is right on Town Hall Road, at School Road, about .66 miles straight west of GZ.

Snow shoes will be good most of the way, but not necessary, if you don’t have any. The deer trails are narrow, and the cattails are thick for the last .2 miles.

Sounds like comfortable winter temps for the weekend, too.

I’m worried the shoes will get hung up on these. Thoughts?

Yes, the outing is still under consideration. I need to figure out how much it will….cost me, if ya get my drift………..
