Thanks to all the board members and little people behind the scenes for a fun and successful weekend. Wish we could have talked to more teams, but those we did it was nice to meet you. Looking forward to next years!
Ditto what Team Bear Bear said ……….
Another “ditto” here too! It was a great Campout!
Love those Sandhill Cranes . . . . and that Great BIG Kettle!
Yeah, I had a great time at the campout too. I think the event came off real well, due to the contributions of many, many volunteers. We had a lot of great people volunteer to pick up the temps on Sunday, so it was great to get that job done easily. Many hands make for light work.
And one of the great things about the campout, is ya get to meet in person some of the folks you meet in the forum and whose caches you have found. For example, I finally met Team Bear Bear, and they both lived up to my preconcieved notions of what they would be like, only MORE SO. LOL.

It was nice to meet you as well Oh Fire God Zuma!
We echo all the statements about the great campout and meeting “old and new” friends at the Park.

Said it in another thread will say it again here: Thanks for all the effort put forth by the organizers and various volunteers who helped pull off the campout and though I can’t speak for everyone, from my perspective it was a tremendous success. I also want to thank those associated with the State Parks, and maybe most importantly thanks to the WGA members and friends that showed up for the event making it the success that is was. This was my first big event and it was very nice to be able to put some faces with names and be able to sit and chat with some of ya’ll. You know who you are. I look forward to the next event. Kudos everyone, thanks again.
