The WGA will be forming a committee to assist with planning and development of the WGA’s portions of the Cash Bash event to be held in West Bend next August.
To be clear, this will be a distinct committee from the West Bend Event Committee, which is responsible for working with the Chamber on registration, goodie bags, placement of caches, and downloading waypoints.
The WGA Cash Bash Bend Committee will be responsible for planning, developing and staffing the WGA pancake breakfast on Sunday, the Geocaching 101 class on Saturday, a membership booth at Regner Park on Saturday, and possible sales of WGA merchandise.
Both the WGA Committee and the local West Bend Committee will work with the West Bend Chamber to make the Cash Bash event grow and be the premier mega event in the midwest.
We are seeing a few volunteers now to help start up this empowered committee, do some of the long range planning and get the Sunday cache page up. We will seek many more volunteers next summer.
