#21. It asks for the number of events held in 2013, which seems to be 6. The question asks us to subtract 8 from that number? Should it be reversed, number of events subtracted from 8?

Double check your number of events here. Let me know if you get the same answer.

12/03/2016 at 11:04 pm #2052560That is weird. I made sure to include all events to catch the CITOs, and those show on the first page of events. I went to the second to get to 2013 and came up with six and no CITOs appeared. Your link works. Maybe we’re victims of one of those occasional groundspeak “search” glitches. Thanks!

when I go to the WGA profile page I count more than 6 events in 2013.
12/04/2016 at 8:53 am #2052565On #26, there are two items that use the number of new caches hidden for the 2015 geopicnic. I found a couple references to Lostcheq hiding new caches for the event, but not the number.

12/05/2016 at 8:08 pm #2052580#30, I’m still stuck on the fact that the puzzle mentions the $5 additional charge for apparently additional bison tubes for the contest. I’m finding no reference on the event page or in the history about that $5 additional charge, just the original price. Do I use 5, 7, 0 for the fact that it didn’t exist, some other number with explination.

12/05/2016 at 9:02 pm #2052582For #30, take $5 plus the cost of the bison raffle.

12/05/2016 at 9:09 pm #2052583This got me to look at that puzzle again, and I finally figured the entire thing out and got it back on base. Now about my unsolvables list. . .

Nuh uhn. Actually, I didn’t get those at first, then I got a nudge from Rib Ticklers, who are much better at puzzles than me. I don’t want to post any spoilers here, but PM me if you need some help with these.

12/05/2016 at 9:27 pm #2052585Riiiiight. . .
I’ve looked at this from the angle of where the letters appear in the alphabet, but most of them have double digit numbers. I looked at their positions in the words, but some of them appear multiple time and/or have double digit positions. Unless I’m missing something, they’re unsolvable.

12/06/2016 at 10:08 am #2052595Spoil away, or PM away at least IMHO.
They are solvable as they have been done close to a dozen times. #11 threw me until I looked below the ABC DEF and the needed info was spelled out. Looks like 125 is the same so I’ll hazard a guess they are all this way.

12/06/2016 at 2:26 pm #2052598I think I’ve whittled my “Unsolvable” list down to 114, 129, & 132. Any help or just the coords would be great.

12/06/2016 at 5:16 pm #2052599I have been noticing that on the caches that have a two part check sum have them listed as North coords= and South coord=. I believe they should be North= and West=. Here is an example copied from puzzle 140:
“Check Sum total (no geochecker) North coords sum= 16 South coords sum= 13”
