109 days to the new logo phase in to be complete
Or, 3 months, 18 days
Or, approx 15 weeks
Or, around 2616 Hours
Or, Close to 156,960 Minutes
Which is near 9,417,600 seconds
The above numbers are now smaller as it took you a few seconds to read this.

Why would any Board Member tell some one to Shut the **** up????
Barry of sweetlifeThey shouldn’t. However, I wasn’t there when this happened, but from personal life experience I’d have to say this is only one side of the story, and there must have been provocation to elicit such a response.
On another note, I’m a member of the web-site committee, and this has been a long process, but we were, and still are trying to get it right. Even just a week ago we were trying to finalize decisions on background and border colors for the logo.
This logo change has been a fight from the start, and we know that no matter what we do, not everyone is going to be happy. But we’ve purposely taken the time, and listened to what people are saying, so that the new logo works for the most amount of WGA members.

Thank you to the WGA for this update

12/14/2009 at 2:32 am #190134821 days to January 3rd 2010 ( and 2 holidays between now and then ) wonder if there is a update on the new website design?
12/14/2009 at 4:20 pm #1901349I actually found this site through a google search. I’ve since seen the logo on many cache pages. I’ve only got three hides to date, but I’ve gone back and added the logo and link to all of them. If nothing else, this site provides a good reference for cachers in Wisconsin.
01/05/2010 at 11:07 pm #1901350January 3rd has come and gone, and not a change to the web page………. oh well………. its only been a year, guess they need more time.
01/06/2010 at 1:13 am #1901351Didn’t you see the article related to this in the recent newsletter?
The WGA has decided that changing the logo on our 1000s of web pages would be too time consuming and costly. Soon we will be mailing out a sticker with the new WGA logo on it to all members. If seeing the old (“classic”?) WGA logo on the website bothers you, you are encouraged to paste the sticker on your monitor or laptop screen over where it appears.

01/06/2010 at 2:27 am #1901353Instead of constantly complaining about it, why not run for a board position and change it yourself.
01/06/2010 at 3:13 am #1901354Although the criticism is pointed, I think it’s perfectly reasonable to wonder why a passed motion has not been acted upon. Yes this is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but let’s just get ‘er done and put this contentious issue to rest!
On the Left Side of the Road...01/06/2010 at 3:34 am #1901355Hey!?!?!?!?

More important, does this mean we don’t get the stickers? 😥

It might take better than a year for them to show up.

I’m still not sure what sweetlife is complaining about. I reread this entire thread and just get hints, partial allegations, and so on. No clear indication of what the issue(s) are. Must be a lot of non-public interaction on this topic.
I see new logo’s all over the place and I don’t see an old logo anywhere.
